Fond of a tortured metaphor, Richard strives to put the moon on a stick for every client. These days more of a management consultant, he spent 8 years as a lawyer advising PLCs before going back to management school in a sulk after a client didn’t believe a lawyer could be a “commercial advisor”.
Richard completed an MBA and a Diploma in Management Consultancy and worked with SMEs for years before creating Alpaca in response to client demand for a more seamless, joined-up, service.
If Richard isn’t trying to connect clients to opportunities, he is usually on a soapbox or a high horse, extolling the virtues of doing things differently in the professional sphere. Much like a real Alpaca, Richard is curious and house-trained but doesn’t much like being hugged by strangers.
